Cupid’s Smoothie

Fitness is the new buzzword and running is the new sport everyone is into. After a nice run with your Valentine drink this love potion to revitalise yourselves. This is what I call a healthy romance.

Serves – 2                Prep Time – 10 mins                   Cooking time (no fire)  – 15 mins


  • Dates – 8
  • Raisins – 10
  • Almonds – 8
  • Oats – 2 tbsp
  • Honey – 1 tbsp
  • Skimmed milk – 2 cups


  1. Make dry powder of oats and almonds.
  2. In a blender put dates, raisins, honey and half of the milk and blend to a smoothie.
  3. Top up with rest of the milk.
  4. Serve chilled.

Tip : Make the love potion before heading out for the run and enjoy it after cool down.
